The Wylie Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to gathering, preserving and sharing the heritage of Wylie, Texas.
Our monthly meetings, which are open to the public, offer a range of programming including presentations by guest speakers and artifact displays. We invite you to join us in person to learn more about the City of Wylie and the surrounding region.

Welcome Center at the Brown House is Now Open!
Visit Wylie's 1st Recorded Texas Historic Landmark: Thomas & Mattie Brown House!
Tour the classic Queen Anne Style house, see exhibits and shop the boutique!
Don't miss Victorian Hand Sewing at the Brown House. Come to the House for a mini-quilting bee, and leave with a completed nine-patch quilt block. All supplies included.

Dues Rate Change Starts in 2023
At the October 26th Meeting the members voted to change the dues rate starting Jan 1, 2023 and added two new levels "Supporter" and "Legacy".
The new dues are: Student $15; Individual $35; Family $60; Supporter $100; Business/Corperate $200; Patron $300; Legacy $500.
