The Wylie Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to gathering, preserving and sharing the heritage of Wylie, Texas.

Our monthly meetings, which are open to the public, offer a range of programming including presentations by guest speakers and artifact displays. We invite you to join us in person to learn more about the history of Wylie and the surrounding region.

Ghost Tour 2023!

Ghost Tour

It's that time! Wylie's 2nd annual Ghost Tour! October 7th & 8th

This year we have even more fun, now featuring two tour options: 1) Haunts & History with the spirits of Marshall Howrey & George Washington Housewright; or 2) Ghostly Gossip with the spirits of Wylie Telephone Operators: Minnie Walker & Lovilla Creel as they describe the spooky history of downtown Wylie!

Each tour runs twice each night: Haunts & History at 7:00 PM & 8:15 PM and Ghostly Gossip at 7:30 PM and 8:45 PM

Suitable for ages 12 and up. Children age 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent.

Tickets are $20 per person
