The Wylie Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to gathering, preserving and sharing the heritage of Wylie, Texas.
Our monthly meetings, which are open to the public, offer a range of programming including presentations by guest speakers and artifact displays. We invite you to join us in person to learn more about the history of Wylie and the surrounding region.

Welcome Center at the Brown House is Now Open!
Visit Wylie's 1st Recorded Texas Historic Landmark: Thomas & Mattie Brown House!

The Welcome Center at the Brown House will stay open past regular hours so people registered for the ghost tour can tour the building, shop in the gift shop, and view four December exhibit: "Oh Those Victorians"
Tour the classic Queen Anne Style house, see exhibits and shop the boutique!
The exhibits are free and open to the public, Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm and runs through Jan 8th
